Day 01 Arrival Caracas.
Caracas lies in a series of valleys 1000 meters above sea level and surrounded by majestic tree-clad mountains. Traces of the city’s colonial roots are still proudly displayed in the historic buildings and contrast dramatically with the imposing modern skyscrapers of the city.

Day 02 Start “Combined Beauties” Tour: Los Roques, Orinoco Delta, Canaima

To Los Roques
Flight Caracas – Los Roques (departure at 05:30 or 07:30, depending on availability). After 40 minutes we land on the airstrip of Gran Roque, the only inhabited island of the spectacular Archipelago Los Roques. After arrival, the baggage will be transferred to our Posada, and we will head directly to the posada to take breakfast. Then we go to the beach where we’ll board our Catamaran for a full-day excursion to the islands of the archipelago. Lunch on board, including non-alcoholic drinks. Snorkelling equipment is available. In the afternoon we return to Gran Roque. Buffet dinner at our Posada. Los Roques is one of the largest national parks in the Caribbean, with expansive white sand beaches, warm azure waters and an abundance of marine flora and fauna. Los Roques is an ideal destination for diving and snorkelling, and for enjoying the sea and the sun away from the bustle of larger beach destinations.

Day 03: Los Roques
After breakfast we’ll continue to explore the islands of the archipelago on board of our Catamaran. Lunch on board, and buffet dinner at our Posada.

Day 04: To the Orinoco Delta
After breakfast we fly, via Margarita Island, to Maturín. Transfer to the port of Morichal Largo. From here we enter the Orinoco Delta by boat. We arrive at Boral Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon excursion in the Delta. Dinner at camp. The Orinoco Delta is a vast, intricate labyrinth of waterways weaving through a simmering jungle to carry the waters of the Orinoco River to the Atlantic Ocean. The Delta has been forming over the course of thousands of years, as the mighty river has deposited millions of tonnes of sediment into the ocean. The Warao Indians – the “Canoe People” – are the native inhabitants of the Delta. They reside in palafitos (stilt houses) along the banks of the river.

Day 05: Orinoco Delta
After breakfast we continue to explore the Delta. In the morning and afternoon we will make excursions by boat, including survival training in the jungle, piranha fishing, and visit to the Warao Indian communities. Lunch and dinner at the camp.

Day 06: To Canaima National Park
Transfer to Maturín airport, and flight to beautiful Arekuna Lodge, at the border of Canaima National Park. After lunch we make an excursion in the area around Arekuna. We can also use the camp’s kayaks or simply relax and take a refreshing bath in the waters of the Caroní river. Dinner at the camp. Canaima National Park Between the rainforest of the Amazon Basin and the watershed of the Orinoco River is a rugged wall of remote mountains and deep, heavily forested canyons. Many of the mountains have precipitous rock walls that rise thousands of meters where they end in an almost perfectly flat top. These formations are known by their Indian name: Tepuis. From one of these Tepuis plummets the world’s highest waterfall: Angel Falls. Overnight at Arekuna Lodge. A beautiful lodge in a breathtaking setting.
Day 07: Canaima National Park
We will make morning and afternoon excursions in Canaima National Park. These may vary depending on the season. Excursions include: Boat excursion along the Antabares river to Guariche Falls; Hiking to the Nonoy Tepuy, having a great view of the Tepuys El Venado, La Vieja, El Zamuro and the famous Auyan-Tepui; Boat excursion and hiking to Las Babas falls; Visit of a Pemon indian community of Antabares; Excursion to the Miso rapids. All meals at the camp. Overnight at Arekuna Lodge.
Day 08: To Margarita Island & Caracas
Today we make an overflight of spectacular Angel Falls! (weather permitting). We land in Canaima village, and make an excursion to Sapo or Hacha falls, where we can walk behind its curtain of water. After lunch we have the possibility to visit some local shops or relax at Canaima lagoon. At 15:00 we depart for Margarita Island. Connecting with flight to Caracas. Flight Porlamar – Caracas. Arrival & Connection with International Flight.
