INTENSE COLOMBIA IN 14 DAYS
Schedule: daily Minimum number of participants: 1 person
14 day tour through Colombia visiting some of the best-known as well as some of the most out-of-the-way parts of the country. This tour has already been scheduled six times this year. Intense Colombia takes the tourist from the capital, Bogota with its world-famous “Museo del Oro”, to the virtually untouched region of the Pacific Coast, where marvellous beaches and deep tropical forests are waiting to be discovered. We also traverse the coffee growing region, making a leisurely climb to the vicinity of the Nevado del Ruiz volcano crater, located at an altitude of approximately 5000 meters, before continuing to the village of San Agustin in the south-west of the country. Here, enigmatic stone figures standing sentinel in the middle of a spectacular landscape, will carry you back in time to an era before the conquest. Travelling over deep valleys and high Andean mountain peaks, we arrive at the colourful and vibrant Caribbean coast, where we will visit the legendary Cartagena de las Indias, one of the most beautiful and fascinating cities in the whole South America. We guarantee that Intense Colombia will take you on a voyage of discovery that for variety and diversity would be hard to match anywhere else in the world.
